Contact Lenses are an excellent choice for nearly anyone that needs vision correction and doesn’t like to wear their glasses all of the time
Not sure which type of contact will suit you?
There are a lot of different types of contact lenses from extended wear to monthly, fortnightly and daily disposable. Which lens suits you will depend on your prescription, quantity of tear film, shape of the front of your eye and general eye health. Your practitioner will advise you on lens suitability.
We will guide you through the contact lens insertion and removal procedure and make sure you are comfortable handling them before bringing them home. Extended wear lenses e.g. gas permeable, are not as popular as disposable soft lenses but are still available and can be the best choice for some.
Daily Lenses
Daily Disposable Contact Lenses are a single use lens. They are really convenient, as they don’t need to be cleaned or stored overnight. They can be wore for daily wear or for most sports and social wear. There are a very wide range of prescriptions and materials available in these lenses so they are a very good choice if you want to wear contact lenses on occasion.
Daily Disposable are available in both distance and varifocal prescriptions so you don’t need to worry about having to wear glasses over your contact lenses to read anymore. The newer materials are more breathable and therefore more oxygen gets through the contact lenses to keep your eyes hydrated. See Instore for more details
Fortnightly Lenses
If you want to wear your contact lenses most days these may be the best choice for you. With fortnightly lenses you get all the benefits of monthly lenses paired with the safety component of daily lenses.
As the name suggests, the lenses are replaced every 2 weeks and they are cleaned with an all in one solution and put into a case overnight. Sometimes deposits can build up on the contact lenses quickly so if you are using a monthly disposable lens it may have to be replaced more regular than the month so you may be better changing to a fortnightly lens. Monthly Lenses
Monthly contact lenses are typically silicone hydrogel lenses that have higher gas permeability: they allow five or more times the oxygen through the lens compared to standard extended wear contact lenses. They may be more suitable for people wearing contacts full time. They are also available in distance, bifocal and varifocal prescriptions.
Most monthly lenses are worn on a daily basis; they are taken out each night, cleaned with an all in one solution and stored in a case overnight, however here is also the option of wearing a day and night version of these monthly lenses. Your practitioner will advise you if you are suitable for this option.

For new customer we’ll need to get a copy of your prescription, and depending on how recent it is, may recommend an eye examination. Our expert team will guide you through the process. All you need to do is get in touch and we’ll manage your order from there.
